I sit on various coastal groups (Southern Coastal Group/SCOPAC, SE Monitoring Project Team). With a background in numerical modelling, I enjoy using models and data to help inform decision making. I promote the use of specialist modelling software such as MIKE21, DELFT3D and analysis software such as ArcGIS and Matlab to better understand the marine/coastal environment.Throughout my career, I have undertaken various incident roles such as Flood Warning Duty Officer and Oil Spill Response Modeller.
