A logistics officer in the U.S. Army plans, develops, and directs logistics operations to support military operations. They are responsible for integrating the functions of supply, transportation, maintenance, medical service administration, and field services.

Assigned to the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation, School of Professional Military Education where I became part of the U.S. effort to foster multinational relationships in the Western Hemisphere. I assisted in the development, planning, and execution of Concept of Operation briefings, Interim Progress Reports, multi-day travel trips for U.S. and Foreign personnel, a graduation, a WHINSEC Hall of Fame induction, and the review and formatting of the CGSOC Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP).

My project management focused role ensured state and federal compliance, budget development and monitoring, data entry, and assisted in the successful development and fulfillment of the projects our four subrecipients had undertaken for BAWDB's 1.6 million dollar Digital Literacy Skills Preparation & Training program and Hidden Talent Initiative. These programs are focused on attracting “Hidden Talent” – specific Northeastern Wisconsin populations that are identified as chronically unemployed or marginally employed and historically disconnected from many of the services, programs, and strategies designed to assist folks reenter the workforce or improve their current employment situation. These programs are funded by Wisconsin’s Worker Advancement Initiative, which itself is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. Gener8tor was chosen for the Digital Literacy Skills Preparation and Training program. Through their Skills Accelerator, co-developed with Microsoft and LinkedIn, they are able to train people on the basics of digital literacy but also give them the education and training necessary to pursue various careers in the digital space. The Community Services Agency focuses on providing various resources and services to Somali and Afghani refugees in Northeastern Wisconsin. Their program focuses on overcoming various barriers that have prevented many individuals in these communities from attaining sustainable employment.New North/Abaxent/African Heritage developed the BOOST project which is designed to connect underrepresented racial and ethnic populations, justice-involved individuals, and long-term unemployed persons with programs and services that assist them with reentry into the workforce or improvement of their current employment situation.We Are Hope has developed a digital literacy and career skills development focused program aimed at assisting people in the rural Door County region towards gaining sustainable employment.

Designated the Command Financial Specialist (CFS). The purpose of a Command Financial Specialist is to serve as the command's principal advisor on policies and matters related to Personal Financial Management (PFM). CFSs are nominated by their commands as special assistants to senior leadership. They are tasked to provide financial education and training, counseling, and information referral at the command level.

Administrative Specialist who has served roles as a Pay and Entitlements Specialist, Legal Administration Chief, Promotion Administration Chief, Customer Service Specialist, Quality Control Specialist, and most recently a Personnel Chief at an independent duty site. As the Personnel Chief, I assisted in project planning and management for the annual training requirement of over 150 reserve personnel. This included administrative preparation and oversight, financial advising, and logistical planning focused on the timely and efficient transport of personnel, equipment, and supplies. Also an all around well-rounded Marine who has served roles as a Leadership Course Instructor, Financial Advisor, Information Systems Coordinator, Marksmanship Coach, Fitness Coach, Color Guard Sergeant, and several roles on teams responsible for over 400 Funeral Honors Ceremonies.
