Conducted in depth analysis to mitigate the operational risk of manpower reductions. Provided a 98% of changes subordinate organizations requested to meet changing manpower needs by listening to their requirements and solving their gaps. Led a team of three through a highly stressful objective of properly documented and transform the forces available in Afghanistan. Planned several strategic scenarios with multiple outcomes and presented options to leaders impacting national level decisions. Following regulations and the stringent processes of GFM, reduced the forces available from 13k to zero during the year while facing the challenging working environment COVID presented. Worked directly with the Joint Staff, CENTCOM and other Combatant Commands to responsibly drawl down operational forces after 20 years.

Managed 5 employee’s daily administrative workloads leading to accurate reporting, analysis of authorization documents (MTOEs & TDAs) across 5 distinct service requirement codes and 11 organizations. Created solutions to solve materiel requirements saving the organization $1.3 million and better integration with the Army.

Managed a team of 5 to plan, program and coordinate the fielding and equipment training of 77 new equipment items. Advised executives on coming organizational changes (Force Design Updates) from the Army. Managed the equipment needs of units by writing, tracking and staffing operational needs statements (ONSs). Wrote 79 Global Force Management changes (Requests For Forces and RFF modifications) while in Afghanistan. During this time also served as the Force Manning Level manager making recommendations to senior leadership to have the correct manpower in country to accomplish strategic objectives.
