To ensure that all mechanical components of the EFW are commissioned and safely delivered to the Project Operations Manager and operational team.To ensure that mechanical components of the EFW installation meet all the quality and performance requirements as per the design intent and engineering design/specifications.To ensure that all components of the EFW installation are appropriately preserved and maintained.Oversee the installation of fixed and Rotating equipment / report finding to Lead Engineer,Liaising with Main Contractor (Interserve) to provide assurance to BWV that they are conducting commissioning activities as per procedures.Active Promotion of HSE at all times on EFW.

Managing construction crews, inspecting ongoing work.Inspection of Mechanical equipment installation and piping systems prior to acceptance from construction. Prepare mechanical equipment for running, with initial lubricant fills, alignment and other basic checks and set up, independently or working with vendor engineers.Assist operations with initial start-up and early running of process and utility machinery. Monitor rotating equipment for correct operation during dynamic commissioning.Assist in preparation of commissioning documentation for acceptance from construction and handovers to operator (Redline mark ups, reports, alignment data, vibration baselines etc.Ensuring adherence to state and local codes.Arranging for necessary equipment and keeping construction project costs at or, if possible, under budget. Carryout inspections, pre-commissioning and commissioning of gasifiers, oxidiser, feed conveyors, boiler, turbine, generator and economiser.

To Carryout inspections, Pre-Commissioning /Commissioning of Air and Nitrogen System, Firewater / Freshwater systems ,Waste water and biochemical system, Cooling water and Reinjection systems. Train1,2,3 Dehydration Unit, Sulphur Removal Unit, Sulphur recovery Unit and Tail Gas Unit, Acid Gas compressors, Emergency Diesel Generator,Manage System and Subsystem Commissioning activities as directed by the Lead Discipline Commissioning Engineer. Manage the safe and timely execution of the System commissioning by leading a team of Technicians, and Vendor Field Service Representatives.
