I have been working in Architecture with experience that spans across a wide range of sectors, including Healthcare, Science Laboratories, Education, Interiors, Corporate, Sports and Hospitality. During this time I have been involved in numerous exciting projects of all scales and types, from large-scale PFI hospitals, CL2 laboratories, mixed-use masterplans, to interior fit-outs for corporate clients.As Practice Technology Leader, my global role involves leading, strategising and managing the application of BIM across all our studios, including the establishment of firm wide standards in compliance to regional and industry requirements. I combine this with technical expertise and experience in the use of Revit, ensuring teams execute projects through best practice methodologies, whilst continually exploring new innovative ideas to enhance the design and delivery process.I am passionate about BIM and what it represents to the industry, where the data-driven approach can ensure our teams and Clients are better informed in making decisions that not only impact positively on our facilities, but also our environment.As part of my Master of Science in Building Information Modelling (BIM) Management, my research focused on the factors for International BIM Standards. It is a topic I am keen to continue exploring, as it is where I believe the industry can achieve even greater efficiency, whilst BIM continues to build momentum across all countries around the world.
