I founded North River Investment Company in 2006 to invest in well located, under performing real estate assets that present opportunities to generate strong cash flow and create significant value.North River employs a disciplined, patient investment approach that relies on experience, market knowledge and relationships to find "needle in the haystack", often off-market opportunities.My focus is on preservation of capital and outsized reversionary values. I invest shoulder to shoulder with my partners, and I will not commit my money, nor my partners' money unless I see opportunities to create wealth and generate cash flow based on a proactive value-add strategy.Since inception, North River with its partners, has acquired a number of New York City assets and has realized significant revenue growth, value appreciation and strong, consistent cash flow distributions. I structure our assets for a long-term hold period and then optimize wealth creation by selling when strong opportunities present themselves.

I co-founded GMAC’s New York City-based commercial mortgage finance business and grew it into a thirty billion dollar debt origination, securitization, and asset management platform with nearly five billion in assets under management and additional offices in London, England, Toronto, Canada and California.While at GMAC, I ran its $750MM financing for the acquisition of New York City's World Trade Center, started GMAC's london-based, European lending business, and served on the firm's executive committee.

I was a founding member of Lehman’s new origination, commercial mortgage securitization business.

As Vice President at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and the merged Chemical Bank, I was responsible for running its first bulk-sale of distressed commercial mortgage loans in addition to numerous loan work-outs and restructurings.
