Since my earliest memories, I have always been the kid with the oldest parents. In addition, I always had the oldest sibling, who was 20 years older than I am. Due to the large age gap between my sister and me, I often spent more time with adults than children. I would follow my parents on company outings, dinner dates, and sporting events. These opportunities allowed me to develop interpersonal skills from a young age. I often held long and thoughtful conversations with adults over five times my age. My parents frequently receive comments from strangers as they were in awe of how well-mannered I am. I am grateful for this upbringing as I have always felt comfortable around adults and have been able to use these skills through different positions in life. As a wealth management intern at Webster Banks, I used these skills to get to know and aid existing and potential clients in pursuing a less financially stressful life. The dialogue at those long company events and dinners allowed me to feel comfortable negotiating with the administration as we worked to improve the inclusivity of our school community. As a junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, I am excited about the prospects of developing skills that will qualify me for several business opportunities. I am confident that the Gabelli School of Business and New York City are the best environments to grow into the best person I can be. In my free time, you can find me singing, going to the gym, or doing market research on the automotive or real estate industries.
