As of Jan 1, 2022 I am now working only as adjunct professor of clinical pediatrics at the IU School of Medicine.

It has been an honor to get to be a part of the mission of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute to help bring the medical technologies of tomorrow into the lives of people today. The Indiana CTSI is an inspiring organization bringing together the most creative minds across the state to tackle some of humanity's biggest problems. My humble work at the CTSI involved connecting people with an intimate awareness of medical needs (clinicians and patients) with highly skilled problem solvers (engineers) to design solutions to those problems. In my time, I helped dozens of clinicians to better understand the process of moving an invention off of the back of a napkin and into patient care. I was able to facilitate the creation and work of many engineering teams (at three different Indiana institutions of higher learning) to design and test creative solutions to clinical problems. Projects crossed many fields of medicine including neonatology, obstetrics and gynecology, nephrology, intensive care, physical therapy, and more. I am grateful for the good people of the CTSI, and I'm thankful to have been a small part of their mission.
