As project officer, my tasks involved;a). Coordinating a team of 5 people with an annual budget of $25,000, mobilizing project partners, local governments and communities from 3 parishes to participate in forest demarcation, restoration planting and awareness meetings.b). Compiling activity and project reports as well as documenting project outputsI was also in charge of planning and coordinating all NatureUganda’s Bird Monitoring Programs, i.e the International Common Birds Monitoring Scheme, International Waterfowl Census, the Road Raptor Counts Scheme, and the Uganda Big Birding Day. Surveys are conducted twice every year at over 54 sites countrywide by over 100 volunteers.
