At NatureUganda, we spearheaded forest restoration initiatives, mobilizing partnerships and managing a substantial budget to rejuvenate vital ecosystems. My role as Project Officer entailed strategic coordination with the National Forestry Authority and guiding a dedicated team to enhance biodiversity through hands-on conservation efforts.Currently enriching my expertise in wildlife ecology with a Master's at Makerere University, I am committed to preserving Uganda's avian diversity. Leveraging skills in spatial analysis and R, I contribute to BirdLife International's mission, aligning my academic pursuits with on-the-ground conservation strategies.
