Jonathan focuses his practice primarily on transactional work, including both commercial and residential real estate, corporate structures and start-ups, commercial transactions, corporate finance, international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation management, media and entertainment, and estate planning and probate matters. Jonathan has acted as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of a number of European and Asian Companies, as well as Chief Legal Officer for a number of companies including a film studio, a scenic railway, and a theme park and office park development company. He has been involved in property development, planning and concept development for major projects in the US, UK and Asia. His experience in the UK includes spearheading the granting of an outline planning permission for development of a major studio-theme park, including doing the executive analysis of the project's feasibility and dealing with all logistical and environmental issues. He has also negotiated the purchase of a Swiss Private Bank, a European Trust Company, as well as the acquisition of, and the due diligence for, commercial real estate properties and various businesses in the US, Asia and Europe. We hosted Star Wars Episode I, Harry Potter's first two movies and Golden Eye to name a few films made there.
