Advanced cluster by designing and assembling computational nodes from COTS components, increasing computational capacity by 17%. Cluster processes data from Mars 2020 and NASA LRO.Identified failure points in existing node designs, then designed novel electrical adapter, eliminating reliance on outdated hardware, increasing power efficiency by 8%, and decreasing PSU costs by 70%.Designed, assembled, tested, and integrated PCB to collect supplemental data for ground penetrating radar measurements, namely antenna orientation and ground distance. The system logged this data along with NMEA 0183 messages parsed from our Trimble GPS.

Mandala Space Ventures is an engineering studio focused on aerospace startup R&D.Used ANSYS Mechanical Workbench to conduct steady-state finite-element thermal analysis of spacecraft electronics during sunlit and eclipse periods.Led the effort to build a proof-of-concept computer cluster for a new incubation company. Defended Manufacturing Readiness Review and led partnership discussions. Assembled COTS server hardware into a beowulf cluster running open-source HPC software for provisioning and job-scheduling.Used Matlab System Composer to conduct tradespace exploration and optimization for a spacecraft architecture involving data centers in space. The model examined transient cross-interactions between Simulink subsystem models and conducted parametric analysis of design choices on launch power, mass, and volume.

Responsible for avionics system operation and avionics go/no-go assessment at launch.
