The Fletcher Group supplies specialty cameras to broadcasters who cover the NBA, NHL, MLB, Olympics, World Cup, NASCAR, NCAA and NFL. Fletcher Sports has won over 10 Emmy's in Technical Achievement over the last 17 years. Jonathan Stein became the third member of the Fletcher Group's Sports department in 1997 and immediately began to help grow the department. He played a major role in helping develop and implement the “Above the Rim” robotic camera angle for live broadcast. The widely popular camera system is used to cover over 1000 NCAA and NBA basketball games a year. Jonathan also trains and manages a staff of over 40 specialized camera operators who implement Fletcher’s various camera systems and angles for live broadcast. These high-end camera systems, cover thousands of games per year on both local and national levels.Jonathan was a member of the Kayaking and White Water specialty camera crew during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney Australia. Recently, Jonathan has been involved in projects aimed to bring Hi-Motion Replay systems to the sports broadcasting market and university based productions. Being a graduate from the University of Kansas, Jonathan is a die-hard Jayhawk fan and follows KU basketball and football religiously. Additionally, Jonathan also coaches high school basketball and other youth sports teams throughout his community. Jonathan resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three kids.
