CurrentResponsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the hospital premises.**Key Responsibilities:**1. **Routine Maintenance:** Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, and associated equipment.2. **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to restore optimal performance.3. **Emergency Response:** Respond promptly to emergency HVAC repair calls, prioritize tasks, and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation of essential hospital services.4. **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards governing HVAC systems, including environmental regulations and infection control protocols specific to healthcare facilities.5. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs performed, and provide detailed reports as required by hospital management and regulatory agencies.6. **Collaboration:** Coordinate closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and hospital staff to facilitate the timely completion of maintenance tasks, prioritize workload, and address any operational concerns related to HVAC systems.7. **Preventive Maintenance:** Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment, conduct regular inspections, and proactively identify potential issues to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term reliability.8. **Equipment Upgrades:** Assist in the planning and execution of HVAC system upgrades, retrofits, and equipment replacements, including the installation of energy-efficient technologies and adherence to budgetary constraints.
