You may think the role of business development executive is all about growing the business, and making money for the company you work for – and in a nutshell, I suppose it is. But, as with everything we do, at DNS we take a slightly different approach to business development. By finding more efficient processes for client, saving on their print costs and consumables, improving document workflows, and providing scanning and archiving solutions resulting in less paper and less print, we help businesses to make real savings in terms of both time and money. This, as you can imagine, is a much more fulfilling role than trying to flog customers things they don’t need – and that’s probably why we’re such a happy bunch at DNS! The whole team gets on well and our skills complement each other to bring customers an all-round good service. My skill is in communication. Not only can I effectively explain what we, as a company, have to offer, but I will listen to and understand a customer’s unique needs, enabling our Account Managers to build an effective and efficient solution. Working with employees and businesses owners on all levels in a range of industry sectors, I can relate to their specific requirements and understand their varying constraints. No two clients are the same, which is why the service that we offer and the products that we provide are always individually tailored.As DNS has grown we have added more solutions to our portfolio, including our latest addition – IT support. This enables us to bring clients a comprehensive package that will further streamline their office processes, for a more efficient way of working.
