I work with Ryan Gillis, the research director, to craft proposals for business development, conduct in-depth market research and analysis of targeted industries, support ongoing projects for the office and individual account executives, source potential candidates based on industry-specific criteria using Boolean logic, and build and maintain resource materials for practice groups.

I worked directly under Brig. General Carl W. Reddel (USAF, Ret.) and the outreach coordinator, Albert Cramer. My biggest accomplishment during my time at the commission was the assistance I was able to provide in preparing for the official groundbreaking ceremony. Upon the end of my internship in the fall, I was invited back as an independent contractor. As a contractor, I worked with the general to conduct historical research into President Eisenhower's legacy as both a military and civic leader. I also presented the legacy to veterans and interested parties at the WWII Memorial, Department of Education, and other venues. Finally, I was responsible for the daily upkeep of the donors' database.

The Cyber 9/12 Competition is hosted annually by the Atlantic Council in an effort to inspire students to take an interest in the cybersecurity discipline. I was a part of the nonprofit's One Million Strong initiative from day one. I helped our COO, Morgan Jones, and several advisors develop the initiative's strategic template, tailored a social media campaign to cultivate its online presence from the ground up, worked with WeChat International to create a brand new online platform in time for the 2017 National Chinese Language Conference, and designed and conducted a survey to measure the attendance rate of all Chinese language students in all K-12 schools in the US.Apart from the 1MS initiative, I also worked with the foundation's president, Travis Tanner, to conduct qualitative research and analysis of Mr. Trump's policy towards China including predicting Ambassador Branstad's nomination, Mr. Trump's visit to China, and the potential stance of the Trump administration on people-to-people diplomacy.
