My day job is on strategic growth and management of Adobe's Patent portfolio, and I am blessed to see the amazing innovation that comes from Adobe Engineers and Researchers. Shepherding those innovations through the patenting process is a critical focus of mine. But Adobe gives me the opportunity to stretch myself and find challenges outside the norm for a corporate patent attorney. I have the opportunity to think deeply and counsel clients about the ground swell of AI/ML. Whether it be the new challenges around user generated content, machine generated content, and datasets; the intersection of trade secret protection and patents; or the Adobe's desire to give veracity back to the world through Content Authenticity--I get to raise my hand and help work through Adobe's ethical approach to AI/ML.Adobe has also given me the chance to see other facets of corporate counseling. I've served in interim positions as product counsel for Adobe's Digital Media business and gotten deep into the weeds on guiding the business through mergers and acquisition. Always, I fall back to my core understanding of technology and the joy I get out of helping our teams through anything I can.

Counselor on legal issues related to technology supporting clients in patent litigation, open source, source code protection, and contracts.
