If I have extra time I do various types of contracts. Most the time these involved CGI graphics for web sites/applications. As an example for a ministry I made a 3D prayer tree that blew in the wind that could be zoomed in on and users could add their prayers to it as a leaf. It was coded in Flex/Flash with custom CGI graphics I created. Projects have varied from C# asp.net to Angular or plain HTML5.I at other times I do paid tutoring in C#, OOD, OOP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• In my current role at Rocket I architected and am the tech lead for the new angular application call LaunchPad. I’m leading devs from multiple teams, driving the features and stories for planning, andleading tech understanding meetings to help both the business and other tech teams understand the full architecture. LaunchPad is a dynamic configuration driven angular engine that renders landing pages for various Rocket Companies. I have designed it with the latest features in Angular such as stand-alone components, dynamic component creation, async lazy imports, and with Angular 16 we will update subjects into signals. The engine is designed to only load what it needs when it needs it and as the result it is the most performant application at Rocket by around a factor of 3x for lighthouse scores.• For 1.5 years I have worked on ALF (Angular Landing page Framework) which will be phased out with LaunchPad. I helped refactor and update ALF from single digit performance in lighthouse to the 20s-30s for mobile. I helped upgrade ALF from Angular 9 through 12. I updated Nest APIs, integrated the application with the CMS Ingeniux for dynamic content, and I made many custom components and full flows. For the onboarding landing page push I lead 3 teams and taught all their devs how to use this framework and write performant code.• I also worked on the Rocket Mortgage website. For that work I helped increase performance, make new components, integrate with CMS such as Ingeniux and Sitecore. Because performance was down in the single digits, I created the iNVIEW angular structural directive. What this did is only render content that was within the viewport. Along with my other updates mobile speeds increased from 9 to 30-40 for lighthouse. I did similar work on the QuickenLoans webpage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• In my current role I have developed most of the UI components and main pages in Starz’s angular 9 web sites (starz.com, starzplay (international), and Pantaya).• I build cutting edge component that are responsive from UHD screen resolutions all the way down to small mobile devices. I also account for various control scheme from touch, to magic mice / track pads, to your normal desktop mouse.• Instead of using 3rd party carousels / sliders I designed Starz sliders from scratch to give us maximum control and versatility, so the business has as many options as they like. These components required complex math, lean code in both typescript and html, and cleaver architecture to support many different devices, net speeds, and limited resources.• I work closely with the UX team leads and Product owners to help develop more engaging interfaces and features to drive up sales and user retention.• I have created component with parallax animations that respond to users’ movements and many other controls with advanced animated / interactive pieces.• I commonly work with and add to the data-api’s to obtain information from Contentful, AWS S3, and various backend services that supply media data.• I wrote the data conversion services for the Starz web sites that take backend media data and converts into meaningful content, webpages, and components for user consumption. These data chunks are referred to as “blocks” and are used to build most of Starz web pages dynamically. They can be changed by the business on the fly without any code deployment, given us the ability to reshape all the main pages easily.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• I was the lead frontend UI developer for the Global Meet conferencing product which is their primary web conferencing software. In this position I had high visibility with the Executives of the company as I worked closely with them during the creation of select features. I oversaw the creation and maintaining of the entire frontend of this product, worth at its peak over 50 million per year. During my tenure on this application sometimes I was the sole engineer for the UI and at other times, I lead a small team of developers in creating new features. In the lead UI role, I helped train developers, created code templates to reduce coding time, worked directly with the Product Owner on the UX and UI to help improve the software, and at various times did design work for creating assets or comps for prototypes. This application started in Flash using (Action Script 2) AS 2 and evolved over time to use Flex versions 1- Spark using AS 3. This application executed using Apache/Maven/Ant with a java backend. It has hooks into C# based web services (WS) for data integration. Using SOAP in the beginning we later upgraded to REST for communication protocols. At the end of my time on this product I was part of the team starting to convert it over to Angular 2 Beta.• I was assigned to the Convergence Desktop which is an Angular application wrapped within Electron (Chromium shell) allowing it to run from the desktop. This was first created in Angular 2 and HTML 5. I converted it to Angular 6. I was responsible for general development work on this application from frontend UI, electron shell work, webservice client api coding that used swagger code generation, and many others. I was also tasked with making the UI responsive so it could adjust dynamically based on the user’s resolution. It was setup on an automated build and distribution pipeline using Jenkins and JFrog Artifactory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Most of my work here was full stack development as projects required creation of databases, stored procs, webservices, api hooks to the WS, and asp.net frontend/UI. Some projects I did all these parts solo while on others I worked within teams.• Designed and developed Focus on the Family’s Market Live ORC homepage and gateways for all their Internet marketing.• Designed and developed interactive Flash pages to boost interest and sales for various marketing webpages and in some cases, sales increased over 30% in one week upon completion of the site.• Created interactive flash pages used by Focus on the Family for contests that drove over .5 Million constituent sign ups over the course of their use.• Developed an application for Space Command that decrypted military satellite telemetry data and backed it up at secure locations.• Managed a team of web developers and graphical designers to generate over 70 Webpage Gateways for a Marketing System within 2 weeks. For this effort I designed the primary layout and code templates and approved all deigns and code from the other developers. I had the responsibility for unit testing, ensuring all sites were cross browser compatible, and rolling the final websites to production. In this position I directed the entire hiring process and was the decision maker. • Created the primary C# Webservice for both the front and middle tier of Focus on the Family’s self-service.• Created a flash website for Ad Gorilla which was used for advertising. It displayed an ad video while using a phone system to call constituents and play the audio over the phone to keep users online to increase sales. This project included the combined uses of the following technologies C#, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP.net 2.0, AC3 CS3, Flash, .Net fat client, and various phone over IP plug ins.

ABOUT:Creative Solutions was a small IT firm that provided IT services for updating existing legacy systems to modern technology and creating custom software for clients. Projects here primarily revolved around updating companies that were using excel/access databases to SQL and writing various .net applications for data input and manipulation. ABOUT:The El Paso County IT SAS (Strategic Applications) was responsible for the creation of custom software to support the needs of all the County divisions and providing technical documentation, training, and Database storage. Projects here included systems to handle inmates’ release time from jail, criminal records and management for the Sheriff Dept, Accounting system for the Trusty, and other applications as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Developed software in C# and VB.net for multiple county branches which included the Judicial branch (PR Bond System), Public Trustees’ (Accounting System), and many others. • Developed stored procedures and helped maintain large SQL databases used for numerous county departments.• Created the GUI for all the applications I was assigned to develop.• Started as a junior programmer helping with existing projects and was made the primary developer on all my assigned applications after my first 4 months of work.• Gathered many requirements from the county Leaders and I documented the technical/business requirements (This was for the Accounting system of the Public Trustee)
