Hello! My name is Jonathan Stirling and I am currently working as a Manufacturing Engineer at The Boeing Company in St. Louis Missouri. Here, I work on the Phantom Works Production Engineering Team as well as the F-15 Production Engineering Team.Prior to my current role, I worked as an Industrial Engineer on the Phantom Works Production Engineering Team where I was responsible for production readiness, material estimating, capital assets, data automation and constraint based scheduling in the Fixed Wing and Weapons divisions.Before coming to St. Louis, I worked for Boeing in San Antonio Texas on the Executive Fleet (VC-25B) Production Engineering Team where I was in charge of Metrics, Automation, and Data Analytics for the. My team and I worked to develop and deploy a series of Real-Time Web Based Metrics that are used by Executive Leadership, Management, and the Shipside crew on a daily basis. This implementation was done to phase out existing manual methods and allow users an "On-Demand" experience.I began my Aerospace journey at Triumph Group Aerospace Structures, where I developed and deployed a site wide Visual Manufacturing System. This system notified both Management and Production Supervisors when problems and defects occurred. This system also served as a visual for each programs Key Performance Indicator Metrics. I also worked on the Gulfstream G650 Flaps Program as well as the Boeing 767 and 777 Programs where I analyzed the manufacturing process to determine improvements that could be made.Some of my areas of expertise include: Automation, Data Analytics, and Visual Basic for Applications, SAS, Robotics, Programming, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Fluid Mechanics, Control Systems, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and Lean & 6 Sigma.
