As the Commission Accounting Team Lead, I bring a strong background in accounting with commissions and play an integral role with the Producer Services Department for Ash Brokerage. I interface with fellow colleagues and external advisors as well as manage a group of financial professionals to provide customer service excellence related to this important accounting function. My team owns the commission processing role and understands the fundamental importance of accuracy and timeliness in relation to agent compensation.-Commission calculations and accruals, including processing of monthly commission and preparation of journal entries-Analysis and follow up on commission variances-Responding to inquiries from field (colleague, advisors, executive management) with regard to commissions -Documenting and managing multiple commission schedules -Participating in the month end close process -Financial statement preparation and analysis -Account reconciliations and analysis -Additional projects and duties as assigned I’m proud to be a part of Ash Brokerage’s team of more than 300 people who make a difference for financial professionals and their clients each day.
