Moqui Ecosystem is series of open source projects including a framework, reusable business artifacts, and fully functional applications (Marble ERP, POPC ERP, HiveMind).Moqui Framework is an all-in-one, enterprise-ready application framework based on Groovy and Java. Moqui includes tools for screens, services, entities, and advanced functionality based on them such as declarative artifact-aware security and multi-tenancy.Mantle Business Artifacts is a business application foundation built on the Moqui Framework and includes a Universal Data Model (UDM) and Universal Service Library (USL).

A Project Management Committee (PMC) is like a board for governing a specific project within the Apache Software Foundation. My participation in this board stems from my involvement from the beginning of The Open For Business Project, now Apache OFBiz.

I was the initial Chair of the Project Management Committee (PMC) of Apache OFBiz and that position also involved being a Vice-President of the Apache Software Foundation. I stepped down in 2010 to shift my focus away from pushing OFBiz toward Moqui Framework and Mantle Business Artifacts which are the next generation of the technical and business concepts that OFBiz was based on.

Hotwax Media offers functional and aesthetic design and implementation services for ERP, CRM, and ecommerce applications in a wide variety of industries.

Undersun Consulting LLC provides enterprise information automation services and solutions primarily based on the Open For Business Project software. As a senior partner I manage incoming contracts, help with analysis for new projects, manage various of the offerings of the company for specific clients, and work on general sales and marketing and product development for the company.

The Open For Business Project is an open source project implementing enterprise automation software including ERP, CRM, eCommerce, Content Management, and various other aspects of business information.

I worked as a contract consultant with clients in various industries including banking, communications, manufacturing, and retail.

CyBuild was a customer-funded company building an ERP and ecommerce specifically for the building supply industry. After difficulty with certain commercial packages I was hired to help re-architect the software based on open source technology. The initial product was an ecommerce system, offered briefly as an open source package under the name "RelmSoft". The initial commercial offering was a dispatch and delivery scheduling and management system. I left the company to start The Open For Business Project after funding ran out, deciding that if I was going to work for free I'd rather do it as a non-commercial open source effort.

Littlefish Commerce was an ecommerce aggregator allowing niche market ecommerce sites to share software and fulfillment infrastructure, with experts in each area running the independently marketed web sites. My role was to help research ERP and ecommerce solutions and build proof of concept prototypes. When the time for a second round of funding came up we had a good estimate of what would be required for the systems, and with only commercial options available at the time the cost was too high for the investment environment at the time (not too long after the .com bubble burst).

Lineo (originally called Caldera Thin Clients) was a company mostly based on an embedded Linux distribution after years of offering embedded solutions based on DR-DOS. Lineo also had a set-top box group that included an embedded web browser and other television friendly software. I was in this group helping maintain and expand the web browser, including incorporation of an EcmaScript engine to hangle JavaScript in web pages. I was also involved in an initial effort to rewrite major portions of the browser to have an object model that paralleled the browser DOM model to better structure the software and improve performance. The browser was originally written in C and as part of this was migrated to C++. With other offerings of the company gaining steam this group was a lower priority and soon after I moved to part-time hourly work to pursue another opportunity the project was cancelled.
