Profile bio

About Eric Jones

I am a Development Engineer who enjoys working in emerging technologies. My approach initiates with brainstorming solutions while being mindful of cost, process and materials. I believe in getting started and getting dirty, often placing a stick in the ground and developing from there. With failure, I take on a 1st principal approach staying data driven and bearing in mind that failures are data points, not end points. I reach out and help out! I thrive in lab settings, fast paced environments and enjoy turning new concepts into products. Knowhow includes: Materials development/selection, process development, vendor/customer relations, micro devices, flexible electronics, backend semi-conductor assembly, lamination, prototyping, device characterization, metrology, coatings, thin films, optical characterization, reliability, FA, and lab facilities.

Listed skills include Product Development, Process Simulation, Analysis, Quality Control, and 14 others.
