Jongwon (pronounced "chong-won" with a soft "j") is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), specializing in robot perception, navigation, localization, and sensor fusion, with diverse applications in autonomous driving, flight, robotics, and augmented reality. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from KAIST with Summa Cum Laude. He has led several research projects at UIUC and KAIST, as well as internships at Google, NAVER LABS, ETRI.
