Highlights included interviewing Tokyo 2020 gold medallist Laura Collett in-field with her horse; Tweenhills Stud filming walking amongst the yearlings; Paul and Megan Nicholls sit-down looking through photo albums; Harry Derham interview as he schooled a juvenile for the first time over hurdles.• Editing feature content as required by producers to play during gaps in live broadcast, as well as promotional material such as openers and promos; in 2021 I researched, scripted and produced almost the entire Review of 2021 as a solo project.• Flexibility in role to cover multiple aspects of Racing TV output, including Producer, Replay edit and Replay voiceover.• Planning the next day’s broadcast, including selecting relevant VT for analysis by pundits as wellas longer-form VT to play during gaps in live broadcast.• HEGO utilization for both live and pre-recorded programming, including constantly reacting tolive events to highlight and provide the best possible analysis for pundits and viewers; liaising with presenters and producers to highlight relevant VT for programmes such as The Verdict and Road To Cheltenham.• Training completed for Producer role, including planning for next day’s broadcast in both Live Racing and Road To Cheltenham Zoom, creating running orders, speaking to and managing talent both before and during broadcast, time management on the day, planning and producing live segments with presenters, pundits and guests including Zoom and in-studio features.
