"Communication is power. Listen, learn, and lead."I’ve always been passionate about telling stories and writing, from a very young age. I used to love writing classes in school and bringing ideas to life. Those moments were where I found my niche and developed a love for language, words, and communication. As the shy kid in class who barely spoke up without being called upon, I would keep to myself and practice my writing skills via poetry, lyric writing, and short fiction. At the age of 19, during my freshman year of university, I completed my first full-length novel. A few short years later, I completed my second full-length novel and over 200 works of poetry. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Memorial University in 2012, I realized that my passion for communication extended beyond the written word and into the world of verbal communication. Soon thereafter, I discovered the industry of public relations. In 2015, I enrolled in the Public Relations Certificate program at Ryerson University. While completing my studies, I began working in a public relations role with numerous small businesses in the Grand Falls-Windsor community. These industries varied from Telecommunications, Fine Arts Dance Studios, and Powersports. When I look at my career, I see only the beginning of a story that is yet to be written. I am more passionate than ever to tell compelling stories, share valuable and reliable information, and become the best listener and communicator I can be as a professional in public relations.
