Owner of The Law Office of Jon O'Toole which focuses primarily on criminal defense in the Collin, Denton, Grayson, Hunt counties. Jon has experience in misdemeanors including DWI, Assault-Family Violence, Thefts; and in felonies including Aggravated Assaults, White Collar Crimes, Burglaries and Sexual Assaults.

I handled prosecution of all levels of felony offenses from grand jury presentation to trial. I tried over 60 cases in district and county courts throughout Tarrant County. I was assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit where I handled a case load comprised of complex theft, misapplication of fiduciary duties, identity theft, and engaging in organized crime. Previously I was assigned to a general district court but I was also assigned to several county criminal courts, including the designated family violence court.

I prosecuted misdemeanor crimes in County Court at Law, preparing the cases from intake through trial. I negotiated and handled plea bargains with defense attorneys. I was the lead prosecutor for juvenile offenders in Hunt County. I also prepared for hearings and obtained protective orders in family violence cases.

I investigated and presented a complex engaging in organized crim case to the grand jury. I also investigated and prepared other cases for presentation to the grand jury. I analyzed and prepared responses to defense motions and researched legal issues and assisted in case preparation for trial.
