My purpose throughout my career has been to deliver the best possible outcomes for energy customers. Today, amid the energy transition, I seek to do so as Head of Policy at APGA.In this role I use my gas industry expertise to make the case for change in policy outcomes in support of least cost gas use decarbonisation through renewable gas uptake. This includes policy supporting the right of energy customers to have access to secure, cost-effective energy solutions through the gas supply chain - all of which is made possible through the low cost energy transport and storage provided by pipelines.The gas supply chain can decarbonise tomorrow - through the uptake of green hydrogen and biomethane - in much the same way as the electricity supply chain is decarbonising today. All that the renewable gas industry needs is a policy framework which enables energy customers to access this solution.Outside of my primary role, I support the renewable gas transition through interests in renewable gas technology and business strategy innovations, leveraging my extensive commercial, innovation, and optimisation experience to find solutions to the little problems experienced developing a new industry.
