I am a Special Education teacher with 8 years of experience serving students as a teacher, case manager, teaching assistant, one-to-one aide, specialty instructor,and long-term substitute. I have worked with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in both general education and therapeutic day school settings.I worked as a pastry baker for 3 years in college and took that experience to design and teach a cooking a nutrition class. I taught cooking, baking and nutrition to Special Education students for 4 years at North Shore Academy. I specialize in Universal Design and thematic teaching. I am passionate about making learning accessible and engaging for students of all ages and abilities.
