I was able to network with management as a veteran member of a young, motivated staff. I continued to hone my ability to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service. Being a higher end restaurant our expectations were different from previous jobs I'd held, creating an even more mature approach to the job.

A very laid back yet hard working restaurant, Leadbelly was the perfect place to get my first service job. Customer interaction, multitasking, game planning, and short term workload management were key in the high paced environment. I was able to further break out of my social shell while working on these talents.

At USMARC I learned to an extreme how to manage both life and long hours. With frequent 55-65 hour work weeks I found more growth in my work ethic while completing studies at UNL and volunteering for the local fire department.
