After leading the award winning web development team at Cimex for over three years -- managing between ten and twenty full-time staff and constantly developing Cimex's technical offering and expertise -- I took up a board position as Technical Director.Essentially furthering the work I'd performed defining, developing and managing the delivery of Cimex’s technical build and consultancy offer, I was responsible for building and managing the award-winning, multi-disciplinary (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash/Flex, LAMP, Java, C#.NET) team of developers, forging partner relationships and helping to grow the business through an innovative approach to solving problems with technology.Working with: Aviva, BBC, Carphone Warehouse, Directgov, HSBC, LOCOG, Optimum Nutrition, Royal Institution and many more...

Responsible for building and managing Cimex's award winning development team while shaping the company's technical strategy in the long and short term. Working with a multitude of large and small clients across multiple sectors, helping to bring their ideas to life in a variety of technologies.From defining and delivering Directgov's first ever mobile channel and leading the technical development on half a dozen sites for the School Food Trust, to concepting and launching an innovative collaboration platform/social network for young creatives and delivering a national educational platform for the London 2012 Olympic Games -- it was a busy four years.
