About Jordan Wright
In 2012 I co-founded, Nous Education, a small business dedicated to enhancing young peoples education through the use of technology. This gave me the opportunity for a number of years to learn client-side and server-side scripting. Using these skills I've worked on a variety of projects, including partnering with KidsOKOnline (formally Intuitive Media) to assist in development of their world renowned product, SuperClubsPlus. Prior to this, I had a keen interest in both web development and e-safety. I obtained a HNC from City of Glasgow College in 2013 then graduated UWS with a BSc in IT in 2015. Whilst studying, I worked part-time as an E-Commerce Manager, which involved managing a number of different e-commerce platforms; including Amazon, eBay, and OpenCart. This role also involved providing technical support for the company, and managing a small linux VPS.In 2016 I left full time work in hospitality which had given me the chance to work as part of a team in a very fast paced restaurant, as well as communicating with hundreds of members of the general public on a daily basis. Now working in IT, it's given me the opportunity to take the skills I've learned, and apply them in a different environment. One which is still fast paced, team orientated and requires the retention of knowledge for dozens of different clients workspaces and networks. I've since went on to obtain an MCSA in Office 365, and an MCSE in Productivity.
