Worked within the Virtustream Office of the CTO providing technical leadership and architecture for the Virtustream platform. I focus primarily on emerging technologies like Kubernetes, Big Data, AI/ML and the next generation of HPC utilizing GPUs. Delivered partner solutions on Virtustream’s VMware-based cloud platform.• Led an effort with SAP to re-platform SAP Cloud Platform onto VMWare PKS and enable a SAP-supported solution on VMware software for the first time. Worked within the Dell EMC Consulting group leading large scale application and infrastructure migrations to on-prem, off-prem private/public cloud infrastructure. Deep experience utilizing VMware and Microsoft’s hypervisors as well as Dell EMC and other major OEM hardware to build on-prem private cloud platforms, as well as large scale enterprise migrations of applications to on-premise and cloud platforms.Engagements spanned across many verticals, ranging from financial to oil-and-gas to federal agencies. These projects range from mission critical application migrations from on-premises to cloud, full datacenter migrations, massive private cloud deployments of both Microsoft and VMware stacks. • Project lead for the enablement of HA / DR services for mission critical enterprise applications for a large Federal agency that allowed for 99.999% up-time SLAs across the entire agency.• IAM migration and virtualization project for a hyper-growth healthcare provider.
