Council On The Connected World

The Council on the Connected World is the foremost international platform for executive-level leaders and authorities to shape governance and innovation of the internet of things (IoT) and related technologies in the global public interest.

I co-chaired the Open Data of the OGP as the civil society representative, along with the Government of Canada. The mission of the OGP Open Data Working Group was to identify and share good practices to help OGP governments implement their commitments and develop more ambitious and innovative action plans related to open data. The group increased awareness.

As Director of the Open Data program I implemented a vision of acting in six dimensions to build long-term sustainable Open Data ecosystems in low and middle-income countries: institutional, legal, organizational, technical, social and economic. Those initiatives should both, greatly benefit the country, and serve as shining examples to others. I.
