CurrentPersonnel Management-Annually, work with a population of 400 musicians and DJ’s maintaining a consistent rotation for 17 ships dispatched globally employing up to 228 at any given time-Organizing auditions and recruiting trips to seek qualified candidates that meet the needs of the Princess music product.-Negotiate salaries of musicians and DJs within the approved budget-Maintain a positive professional relationship with outside entertainment agents, vendors, and all employed musicians and DJ’sOperational Management-Report to the Performance Rights Society to ensure compliance for music licensing-Organize the maintenance and purchasing of all music equipment across the fleet-Organized music support for corporate events and itineraries-Create and manage budgets for purchasing and maintaining equipment -Monitor shipboard musician performances via social media, guests Onboard Evaluation ratings, End of Voyage reports, end of assignment music evaluations, Cruise Critic, and Clarabridge reviews-Continually maintain an accurate schedule of booked talent -Ordering music equipment per onboard management’s request and allowed budget.-Maintain a fleet wide equipment inventory data base -Access the recruiting website to view potential candidatesEvent / Program Development-Develop cultural entertainment programming coinciding with the itinerary and demographic-Develop and maintain department policies and procedures-Oversee the onboard Karaoke program making content updates relevant to the passenger demographic and coordinating Karaoke machine maintenance -Travel to the various ships to lead rehearsals, train musicians in recent music technology, and provide critiques to assure performance excellence-Develop specialized playlists for bands to perform for Festivals of the World and themed events-Rehearse party bands for specific events, parties and playlists
