Responsible for several middle office and back office functions supporting Farmer Mac Capital Markets, Investment Desk, cash movements, margin activity, swap book, and AP functions. Issue debt and settle investment trades for the company. Enter and monitor securities movements for settlement, returned wires, and rejected wires. Work with the desks to receive the trade tickets and confirm with the counterparties. Work with external system clients and counterparties to remedy all problems related to the securities movements.Send out all wires for the company. Create all company wires in Fedline Advantage from internal employees. Review the wire requests for accuracy and completeness. Enter the data in the TMS system. Monitor the Fed account for any incoming wires and any issues related to the outgoing wires.Create a margin report daily with the entire companies margin position and notify the Investment desk of any margin calls. Work with the counterparties to notify them of any calls Farmer Mac is making and respond to their call activity. Gather the support for any calls and attach to the daily work.Create a daily package for all swap activity for Farmer Mac for the day. Run internal and external systems and reconcile all swap payment activity for a day. Gather the support and include in the daily work so the activity can be entered into the TMS system and if there are payments that Farmer Mac needs to make, provide that as well. Use the external AP Vendor to assign all outstanding invoices received in the system. Work with internal and external people to answer all questions and resolve all issues with invoices for the entire company.Complete ad hoc special projects as needed.

Responsible for the intraday reconciliation of secondary market MBS security movement activity. Monitor security movements for returned wires, rejected wires, and all other wires that were not allocated in the system. Work with the responsible group to correct or address the wire.Issue Fannie Mae Structured and New Issue security wires. Use the internal system to issue Fannie Mae MBS activity. Use the trade information from the Allocations area at Fannie Mae to issue any structured activity. Work with internal Fannie Mae personnel, or external clients to remedy all problems related to the issuances.Resolve all email and phone inquiries from internal Fannie Mae personnel or external clients. These items include: creating or updating a counterparties wire instructions, detailing an external clients pair off amounts, assisting with future settlement activity, assisting internal groups with their need to change details of settled trading activity due to pricing differences, etc.Create a daily reconciliation for all MBS activity. Run several reports to reconcile the days MBS activity and remedy any items that were found. Also reconcile with the Fannie Mae accounting team to reconcile any accounting issues. Work to address those data issues in a timely fashion.Assist with testing the systems for possible disruption of systems or building outages. Monthly test the system readiness of a separate contingency location, monthly test access from home.Participate in a quarterly test with the Federal Reserve for a system outage and resumption. Complete ad hoc special projects as needed.

Monitored wires for rejections and errors, and notified the group responsible.Sent out all third party banking wires for the company.
