Run GenZ is a 501(c)(4) which purpose is to assist, encourage and recruit strong conservative leaders across the nation by educating potential candidates on how to officially get on their states ballot. Run GenZ will also provide mentoring programs where candidates will learn how to run and operate a campaign including skills such as fundraising, grassroots volunteer organizing, public speaking and voter engagement. MD Orthopaedics is my family-owned business that was started in 2004. My dad started the business out of our garage and has went from making $16,000 in revenue his first year to up to 10 million just 15 years later. MD Orthopaedics ships to over 120 different countries in the world and is the gold standard for club foot orthopedic braces. As a senior account manager my job duties include helping manage customer accounts that add up to 5 million in sales for our company each year. I also communicate with office managers, practitioners and accountants to collect sales data that helps our short and long term market development. Collecting these data surveys from customers allows us to track competitors and plan long term for market penetration and threats of competition. It helps brand and create a market development plan to reach markets globally. Additionally, I give suggestions and do research on what markets we could potentially go into and which markets we could perform better in.

Job duties include representing 33,000 Iowans from my district at the Capitol, advocating for issues they care about and passing policy that impacts the state in a positive way. As state representative, my committee assignments include being Vice-Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee and serving on the Judiciary, Commerce, State Government, Administrative Rules and Education sub appropriations committees. Vice-Chairman for the Ways and Means committee entails being second in command of the committee and running the committee when the chairman is absent or running a bill. I also help facilitate and help lead the caucus on what bills to take up in the committee. I assist in managing and passing a budget up to 7.6 billion dollars. Other issues include passing policy for education, public safety, business regulation/taxes and many more.

Help educate lawmakers and lobby them on behalf of clients hired by Eide & Heisinger. Notable clients included Tyson Foods, Genesis Healthcare, Uber, Pharmacy Association of Iowa, Physical Therapist of Iowa, Big Brothers Big Sisters and many more. Job duties include attending sub-committees, lobbying on behalf of our clients, one- on-one meetings with legislators discussing critical policy pieces. I also did extensive research on policy pieces Eide & Heisinger were lobbying for or against. Figuring out pros and cons to why or why not we wanted certain legislation passed was crucial to being successful.

As an intern for U.S Senator Joni Ernst I did a variety of tasks including strategically communicating with constituents from all over the State of Iowa via email, phone and mail. Solving problems/directing constituents and taking their concerns in toaccount were all aspects of the job. Making sure you always dealt with every constituent in a nice respectful and thoughtful manner was very key to being successful.I also worked on briefings for the senator and her staff in areas including healthcare, agriculture and economic growth policy. Assisting staff by doing extensive research on policy items crucial to the senator including agriculture and healthcare issues.The job also included leading groups of constituents from Iowa through the U.S Capitol for tours. This required being able to know the history about the Capitol and the building itself. This was a part of making the Capitol visit exceptional for your constituents.

As a policy intern for Governor Reynolds I assisted in doing briefings for her and her staff on many pieces of policy including healthcare, economic development and criminal justice reform. I also would do briefings for her on various legislators that would be coming to meet with her about different issues. The job also entailed doing constituent services work responding and communicating with people viae mail, phone and mail. Directing people and transferring people to various departments to get help on a number of issues was an important part of the job. I also assisted in scheduling the governor for different events around the state and helped staff events for her and other elected officials.

As a legislative clerk at the Iowa State Capital I did a variety of important task including drafting letters to different legislators and constituents throughout Iowa. Contacting constituents through email, phone, letters or face to face was a essential part of the job. Addressing constituents concerns was a number one priority where I had to dealt with talking to constituents about issues such as healthcare, taxes, business regulations and many more important issues.I also was in charge of scheduling a variety of legislative forums for the Senator which included calling different venues and finding dates and times to reserve rooms. Another important task I was in charge of was managing the Senators committee schedule and making sure he was at every meeting and committee on time and prepared with the correct supplies.
