After graduating culinary school I was able to study under Chef Coskun Uysal at The House Café in Istanbul, Turkey. Once returning, I was hired with the Club Med Resorts where I spent one season as a Demi Chef in Florida. When Returning from Florida, I was hired as a catering manager, and then quickly promoted to Executive Sous Chef at the DreamWorks Animation Studio, under Bonappetit Management. While working with Bonappetit, I spent time in a fine dining tapas restaurant, The Upstairs 2 and a contemporary soul food restaurant. I had yet another opportunity to work and travel in Istanbul, Turkey being hired as the Private Chef for Director, Emre Sahin, during the shooting of his film "40." I am currently the Executive Chef and Co Founder of A Moveable Feast LA. We are an organization that holds dinner parties and events to raise money for a charity of our choice. Currently we are working close with Drop in the Bucket, a non profit that is responsible for digging numerous wells in African villages that currently do not have access to clena water. As for cooking daily, I am a Private Chef for Karga 7 Productions and their daily in house and off site events.Specialties: Ordering and receiving, menu planning, production schedules, employee scheduling, quality control, safe food handling and private catering events.
