I have over twenty (20) years of experience working in risk management and compliance for the financial services industry. My career, to date, has provided me with an extensive background in compliance, operational risk, audit and regulatory reporting. I possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills as well as a proven ability to manage large scale projects and international teams. I have established a very successful track record of assisting businesses to better define their policies, improve their reporting procedures, and monitor their business activities for risk and compliance.Professionally, I have earned a diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA), hold designations in Risk and Information Control (CRISC) and Information Systems Auditing (CISA) through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). In addition to these designations, I also hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Endicott College which I earned while working full time in Bermuda, as well as a Business Degree from Cornell University. I have also recently completed my Certificate inCompany Direction (CICD) through the Institute of Directors (IoD) to enhance my own capability as a director and to improve the support provided to the Boards I support.My substantive experience has included providing risk stewardship, training, advice, guidance, and direct compliance support to the first line of defense on various compliance matters relating to Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Fraud, Sanctions, Tax Transparency, Economic Substance, Outsourcing and Regulatory Conduct to the banking, insurance, asset management, and investment sectors.
