I am an aspiring marketing industry leader. I am always on the lookout for ways to better myself physically, mentally, and professionally. I find it important to keep all aspects of the body at top shape. I am a sibling to one younger sister and have learned to use team work to find a way to get things done. My sister and I would often team up whenever we wanted ice cream at night working our parents from all angles until one of them would cave and drive us to ice cream. Another strength of mine is natural leadership, people often look up to me for my decision making and ability to lead others. I was usually captain of my sports teams or a leader in my school projects. Most recently I have taken on a contracting business with my roommates where I am to lead them as CEO of this small business. Working with your friends is not always easy but we have found a way to conduct business and friendship in a manner that is separate yet good for both the business and our relationships with each other. I believe to be a good leader you have to be a good listener. Over the years I have developed an aptitude for listening to folks in fragile moments. I am often the one people come to with their problems to listen and give advice. I wouldn’t say I have the best advice or know everything, but I do know how to listen and offer logical and comforting solutions in times of need. Other skills I have include a proficiency in Spanish. I have been studying Spanish since middle school and have real world experience involving trips to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
