As a tech lead, I work across the organization to define system requirements, identify team dependencies, architect solutions on our platform, improve our platform’s tools, and lead a team of 10+ engineers. On a day-to-day basis, I find myself mentoring the team, analyzing requirements, and prioritizing work with the product team. Our team has worked on enhancing the Care Management, Case Management, and Utilization Management solutions of Medecision’s product stack. We are also creating new tools to build, test, automate, and enhance our platform while adjusting it to support the new healthcare-related requirements.

Our engineering team worked on updating and enhancing our enterprise platform and the tools within it. I was involved in the review and assignment of stories and training the team on the platform we built/use. During this time we also started architecting enhancements to the core framework. Those enhancements included improving our Rules Engine, adding Health Care domain support, enabling offline work, adding CI/CD pipelines to the project, and improving our application development tools within the platform.

I worked with our Tech Lead and the rest of the team to manage and train offshore resources. We designed and developed offline medical form systems and enhanced our SaaS ERP framework Compass Agile Enterprise to support the Health Care domain. Our team was involved in all parts of the SDLC, and our team also was responsible for the Front-End design/development, Back-End design/development, Test design/development, creating and updating CI/CD processes, and improving our software scalability.

I learned Ruby, Ruby on Rails, VueJS, API Development, Data Modeling (Silverston), and SaaS platform architectures, ERP app architectures. We also created an assessment/survey-taking system that allowed enterprises to make dynamic questionnaires within the platform and attach those questionnaires to any other model/form. We also worked with the QA team members to build integration testing tools using Selenium and Cucumber while also producing SOPs for our processes around automation and QA handoff.

The ATE team designed and built test equipment for our manufacturing processes, developed test procedures for the entire platform, and automated those procedures.
