Eric is the well seasoned Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Permata Venture, a Singapore asset management consulting firm who works with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth families in SE Asia, including Singapore and Indonesia in wealth management and private capital funding. As part of the marketing team, he actively works to grow and expand the firm presence in the SE Asia region in the private wealth, debt and equity markets.Prior to his joining of the firm, Eric was actively involved in marketing projects in Malaysia and Singapore. A major part of his specialty is in the research, strategy design and implementation of high-risk marketing turnaround projects for MNC brands in the Commerce and eCommerce industry. Having spent more than 15-years in the marketing industry, time has refined his ability to spot hidden dangers and gemstones of commercial opportunities that quietly lay to be discovered.As a professional marketer who grew up in the 90s and early-2000s Apple, he too admired Steve Jobs as the one-of-a-kind genius in the world of branding, product design and development. And if there was an advantage to the experiencing the magic of Jobs, it would have been the opportunity for him to appreciate Jobs' earlier philosophical quote as a more experienced Gen-Y: “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.
