Latam Country And Distribution Manager
CurrentDigi International is a leading global provider of mission-critical and business-critical machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products and services. I was promoted to Country and Distribution Manager for South Central USA and LATAM in 2014. In this role, I manage a team of Territory Manufacturer Representatives, while exceeding quarterly and annual quotas (by >125%). I have generated a significant pipeline across the LATAM territory by conducting frequent visits with key accounts to promote project win rates and by identifying business development opportunities in emerging markets.Key Achievements Have Included: • Partnering with marketing leadership to garner LATAM customer involvement in the inaugural Digi Green Tech Awards, driving brand awareness and strengthening customer relationships• Leading marketing activities, including webinars and trade shows to drive demand, which have led to $MM business opportunity funnel creation, and has increased company prestige in the market• Creating Digi.GO training content for external distributor network, remote manufacturing teams, and internal onboarding; training increased sales efforts tenfold and empowered partner ecosystem to lead sales efforts without constant supplier oversight• Identifying and fostering partnerships with international markets to fill vertical market blind spots and support net-new revenue growth• Providing industry intel, product forecasts, and Salesforce reports to executives, leading to new product introductions, more efficient supply chain and production scheduling, and clear visibility on business opportunities• Remaining abreast of IoT, M2M, RF, cellular, and global technology trends; serving as an organizational thought leader to drive product innovations and iterations necessary to remaining competitive both in cost and feature set• Identified client needs and conducted SWOT analysis to mitigate risk, and anticipate new opportunities
