• Served as a director accountable for a high-visibility mission-critical portfolio and leadership of a team comprised of more than 40 employees and contractors.• Budget accountability for $6M+ achieving $1.1M in run rate savings in 2015.• 2014 Hartford’s Chairman Award recipient.Currently leading an operational command center team of 40+ staff responsible for reducing business impacts to The Hartford’s most critical business applications. The team consists of enterprise monitoring, event management, service restoration management and network operations providing 24X7X365 support. In 2015 we have reduced impacts to our business customers significantly through proactive technology and process resulting in substantial productivity savings. Launched and matured the command center developing the workforce strategy, operational process, procedures, and performance metrics serving as foundational elements. In 2014, received the Hartford's Chairman's award for contributing to exceptional productivity savings realized through a significant reduction in business service impacts.

• Led property and casualty (P&C) wide technology standards committee accountable for establishing specific technology standards to be adhered to by business segments. Ratified and implemented over fifty technology standards that were leveraged by new project designs reducing cost of ownership and increasing business agility. Established process and key partnerships to secure CIO support for the re-usability and cost benefits associated with technology standards. • Member and vice-chairperson of the architecture review board (ARB) which is the governing board that influences design decisions for each major invest project. Reviewed designs, led review sessions and participated in project scoring decisions as well as communication to CIOs.• Led Innovation Lab team responsible for formulating initial mobile computing strategy for CTO partnering closely with business innovation team and Enterprise Architecture. The team also delivered a strategy for improving offshore developer productivity and some initial research on the use of telematics.• Led the Commercial lines delivery architecture team accountable for delivering overall solution designs for major invest project initiatives. Partnered with segment architect and CIO to ensure that the team’s designs aligned with strategic roadmaps, blueprints and tech currency strategies. • Developed business case, plan and CBA for migration of numerous code asset management tools into a single Enterprise code asset management standard.

• Led Claims, Information Management/Data Warehouse, and Shared Service solution architects from 2006-2008. The team was accountable for overall solution design for invest projects. Partnered with CIOs and Lead Line of Business architects to formulate strategic and tactical plans to simplify the portfolio, improve currency and reduce risk to the business.• Co-architected and supported the Personal Lines Client Policy Administration business function. Leveraged CSC’s Exceed framework to replace legacy mainframe client policy administration systems. Accountable for design, performance analysis, implementation and post production stability and supportability.• In 2001, accountable to lead a cross-functional team of data warehouse, data center, and infrastructure support teams to move our large scale data warehouse infrastructure from one data center site to another. Responsible for planning, risk mitigation, contingency plans, and overall vendor coordination. The move was successful within the timeframes planned with no recoveries needed or impact to the business.• From 2001-2004, led Enterprise Data Warehouse infrastructure architecture and support team. The team was accountable for establishing an Enterprise Business Intelligence platform. We implemented a SAS Business Objects Web Intelligence and Citrix Business Objects shared BI platform reducing overall costs for analytics and reporting.• The team was also accountable for developing the strategy to migrate off legacy DEC Alpha TRU64 servers and storage arrays to HP Superdomes and EMC DMX storage including determining strategies for tiered storage reducing costs to the Hartford.• During 2001 through 2003, led the data warehouse DBA team. During this period, we evaluated what would be the strategic data warehouse database platform for the Hartford considering Oracle, Teradata, and Netezza.
