My responsibilities were to map the delivery sites and to confirm the deliveries, as well as, delivery of products, such as plants, trees, and planting materials using 25 foot long to 34 foot long trucks. I provided customers with occasional advising of tree planting and information on various plant-life accessories. The trucks were inspections daily, and if there were any problems, they reported through the logs to alert and recognize hazards. After deliveries were complete plants and materials were transferred from store to store, as well as, to and from the warehouse. After the main tasks of delivering were completed for the day, there would be a side project to finish that would vary from organizing rows of pallets loaded with soils, to stacking and organizing pallets, or even putting plants back in stock and helping customers find plants. Additional projects required hand tools, power tools, and irrigation tools. In spring of 2012, I was moved out to rock yard and was the assistant to the Rock Yard manager at the time Kyle Mickelson (who is now a store manager). I was responsible for organizing deliveries as they were to be sent out, taking orders, using the register, faxing documents, stocking the trailer, and ordering truckloads of rocks to stock the yard. Performance of data entry was done by maintaining inventory loss data (shrink), and by recording the mileage daily. Additional duties were to process purchase orders to receive rock from the quarries. During this time I operated the front-end loader, the backhoes, and the smaller bobcat loader with the sweeper, bucket, and clamp attachments. In the winter of 2012, I was moved back over to Green Delivery Driver and would occasionally go and drive for the Rock Yard when needed. During the winter from mid November to the end of December I would help process Christmas Trees around regular duties. This required the use of hand tools and a chainsaw.
