- Developed under Open Source Labs (https://opensourcelabs.io/)- Enhanced GraphQL implementations interacting with SQL databases, bringing the predictability and consistency of queries and responses to a caching layer that dramatically speeds up requests for data. - Added server-side caching capabilities using Redis’ advanced data structure options to provide quick memory-based query responses to GraphQL queries, avoiding unnecessarily expensive database calls.- Traversed abstract syntax trees using Deno’s GraphQL middleware to break down query strings, implementing a caching strategy that both enables selective querying and invalidates stale cache keys after a relevant mutation. - Migrated from JavaScript to TypeScript to enforce strong and static typing using type interfaces, simplifying the debugging process, improving readability, and allowing for easier maintenance to enhance the developer experience.- Used the Deno JavaScript runtime environment to build the back-end caching logic, taking advantage of security-first design, top-level async/await logic and built-in TypeScript support.- Utilized React to provide conditionally rendered components based on dynamic state, allowing for dynamic front-end access to the efficient server-side cache based on queries from the larger user base.- Integrated with Oak, a server-side framework for Deno using the middleware design pattern to enable modularity and organization when routing GraphQL queries either to the database or the cache.
