- Generated accurate 3D CAD models of cityscapes such as New York City, Toronto, and Los Angeles for use in CFD analysis of how certain wind patterns permeated both MLB and NFL stadiums. This included extensive work in both Blender and Solidworks.- Took part in the a course designed to fully train industry professionals in CFD analysis.- Learned how to utilize Star CCM+ for industrial applications on real world systems scaling from sprinkler heads to whole cities. This also included developing my own model to predict real time geothermal heat sinking as it varies based on surface climate and depth.

Worked under Professor Ann Chen in the Computational Engineering department to help collect and analyze SAR data from satellites. This technology is able to detect small scale deformations in elevation that can be indicators of many natural disasters like earthquakes, landslides, and volcanic activity. Specifically, I looked into discrepancies between data sets on the Hawaiian islands based on their reference points and evaluated these differences' statistical relevance compared to the total error from other sources such as atmospheric noise.
