Responsible for leading the research, development and deployment of AI models into production settings with high precision and reliability requirements. In this role I pioneered the development of the AI fruit sizing product - currently exhibiting exponential revenue growth.This role involves technical leadership in the domains of computer vision, machine learning, software architecture & development, data engineering and autonomous quality control systems. I’m additionally responsible for managing the team working in these areas. The team’s focus is the Aerobotics fruit insights product suite. These predominantly involve computer vision models, but include an array of insights built off various sensor modalities.

Architected, designed and built a new IoT product in a greenfield project with one subcontracted electronic engineer working under me. Activities were: - Firmware design and implementation for sensor MCU in C/C++, networking with MQTT- Fleet management and commissioning with AWS IoT core- Backend server in Node.js to manage sensor fleet data and events- Databases, API Gateway, Cognito ID Pool, EC2, Lambda setup in AWS Cloud- Client API in Node.js- iOS Mobile Client, developed natively in Swift- OTA firmware update server: Node.js, Express, Docker running in EC2- Sensor circuit design- Project management (planning, timelines, budget etc) and management of electronic engineer's tasks

I performed the technical cofounder's role in launching the Radcast concept. Notable activities were:1. Software Architecture Design: Extremely modular, microservice based and environment agnostic components. 2. Software Development: Managing the team building the software as well as writing a lot of code myself. Main frameworks/tools used are Node.js, Docker, Vue.js, RabbitMQ, Flask. 3. Management of DevOps: AWS - EC2, Lambda, EBS, SNS and more.4. Interesting tech components built: - Audio stitching transcoder microservice that creates unique audio files for every user. Hardware intensive process that has been designed to scale extremely well. - WhatsApp messenger & content distribution automation. The Radcast product is still currently in an MLP form (Minimum Lovable Product), but the speed of development, stability and performance, as well as (most importantly) value to users is something I am very proud of. Other interesting contributions to Radcast:- Growth hacking to test the concept on >3k users- Not sleeping on Wednesday nights for over 3 months to make sure our WhatsApp integration performed correctly. - Tons of strategy predicated on Silicon Valley pundits advice (Paul Graham, Reid Hoffman, Peter Thiel and many more)

Responsibilities:i. Design software solutions using object oriented design processes.ii. Write both high level and embedded code for the Mac OSX and iOS operating systems, using C++, Objective-C, and C in the XCode IDE.iii. Assist with design and maintenance of electronic sub-systems. iv. Develop software to provide graphical and text-based interfaces for the software components (control and diagnostic) of the Aceso mammography system.v. Assist with maintenance of software and documentation thereof, and specifically attempt to resolve any issues that arise in the central control and peripheral software systems. vi. Design required new features for the next generation scanning system, and participate in the construction of this scanner. vii. Develop ad hoc tools for research platforms and perform R&D when necessary.
