I am responsible for daily operations on a Farm which produces specialty Strawberry Transplants for farms in Florida as well as produce which we retail locally. I manage a small year round staff, and during our harvest, I manage all aspects of field operations to ensure just in time workflow and plant quality with a crew of about 15 hourly and up to 300 production laborers. We currently use RTK GPS for steering and documentation, as well as for land shaping to provide better drainage for our crops.We continually strive to educate ourselves, and to innovate solutions, and incorporate existing technologies to address problems and concerns both for us and our customers.
