Current• Chart successful course of directing a team of managers who in turn oversee industrial engineers, operations support specialists, production control analysts, manufacturing engineers, and planners. These teams:o Handle operational schedules and utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor budgets.o Support the Operations Team by ordering supplies and leading process improvements for new program startups. During one initiative, identified a more efficient method for rebuilding the shipping dock, avoiding costly road modifications and traffic disruptions; the team’s recommendation to reposition the shipping door and utilize existing infrastructure was implemented, streamlining operations. In another project, collaborated with cross-functional teams to redesign brackets in the product structure, saving over $1.5 million in non-recurring costs and reducing assembly time by 500 hours per unit. The change is currently pending approval.o Author detailed build plans and work instructions to guide Operations Team in assembling the product.• Oversee managers responsible for product operations, including the entire product build process, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.• Launch new classified and unclassified programs by helping define statements of work, facility requirements, and resource needs to ensure program success.• Assemble qualified teams to execute new programs from inception through sustained operations.• Provide direction to the teams and track team budgets to ensure work is completed in scope, on time, and within budget.• Champion the implementation of advanced project management methodologies, such as Agile and Lean, across multiple teams to improve delivery speed and quality across critical operations.• Act as a key liaison between executive leadership, operations engineering, and operations teams; report on work status, performance, and new business opportunities to the Executive Leadership.
