Developed an administrative desktop application in .NET (C#, C++, Windows Forms).◦ Designed to monitor and control various aspects of Niche servers through a user friendly GUI.◦ Involved in all stages including requirements gathering, designing, prototyping, implementing and refining.◦ Required navigating a 20 year code base and adapting to Niche practices and coding standards.◦ Developed an easily extendable code structure to allow for further functionality after completion of co-op term.Assisted in adding an option to an existing application for exporting reports to Microsoft Excel.Converted multiple PowerBuilder reports to XSLT format.Participated in regular code review sessions and completed recommended reading (Effective C++).
