Arun is a Partner at SixthFactor Consulting; he was part of the founding team; and he is Chief Research Officer at Krenium. He is a marketing research and strategy guru with varied expertise, gained from a multifaceted career as a research practitioner.He has worked with several global Fortune 500 companies and government organisations as his clients, with roles in global and regional capacity, at leading global research companies, across geographies extending from the Middle East and India, to Africa and Eastern Europe.As part of his work in the recent years, among other things, he has designed, developed and implemented research solutions that make use of various new-age techniques and tools, including implicit testing, behavioural insights, nudge theory, electroencephalography, eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and facial coding.Arun has published papers, and spoken on several occasions at various industry fora, including events by ESOMAR. He has taught at various leading business schools as visiting faculty and guest lecturer, for basic and advanced marketing research courses and topics.He holds a degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and an MBA with majors in marketing and systems from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar in India.When not grappling with numbers and digging for consumer insights, working on development of a new app or or platform, or exploring new technology, Arun is likely to be engaged in some or the other creative pursuit involving words or visuals. He is a ‘sold’ painter, an award-winning photographer, an award-winning poet, and an amateur short story writer.
